Taishan Railway Station is located in Taishan, Guangdong, China. An intermediate station on the Jiangmen–Zhanjiang Railway, it is administered by China Railway Guangzhou Group. Its red walls and green roof tiles recall European architectural forms, taking the former Ningcheng Station of the Xinning Railway as a reference and responding to Taishan's distinctive overseas Chinese heritage. The building combines a clear, dignified silhouette with classical detail, reflecting the city's identity as a coastal hometown of overseas Chinese.
A tall clock tower marks the centre of the station, with the Chinese characters for Taishan beneath it. The main hall has a lofty volume, rising more than ten metres on the ground floor. Glass curtain walls on both sides bring abundant daylight inside. Covered walkways connect the car parks to the waiting hall, sheltering passengers from sun and rain. The tracks lie to the north and the station square to the south; walkways partly enclose the square, with parking on its east and west sides.
The station makes travel to Taishan more convenient and supports the development of local tourism, hotels and dining.
