Created by Siza Cham with Wanli Stone, the project was developed for the 2022 Xiamen Habitat Design and Life Festival, whose spatial exhibition explored stone and life. The concept expresses vitality, growth and the possibility of better living through the material presence of stone.
The exhibition theme centres on a single thought reaching in every direction, reflecting the designer's Zen perspective. Stone volumes give physical form to an abstract idea, intersecting and overlapping to suggest both the fleeting nature of thought and its lasting reach.
LED screens, integrated linear lighting and mirrored floors and ceilings amplify the central forms. Between the physical and the virtual, the space creates a future-oriented setting that invites visitors to imagine thought continuing beyond its boundaries.
