Siza Cham's pavilion design begins with Guanzhu's Yonghua Jingyun collection and impressions of Beijing. Architectural sequences and traditional craft inform an immersive setting that combines cultural references, art and luxury with product presentation.
The spatial composition follows the idea of a garden within a city and a courtyard within a garden. Artistic viewpoints developed with fashion designer Guo Pei introduce borrowed scenery along the visitor route. Changing views make the journey engaging while connecting the products to their cultural and artistic context.
