This summer, under the theme of "growth," TC Design held a rank-review defense for its young designers. Twenty-five colleagues from different departments — soft furnishings, R&D, finance, architecture, and interior design — stepped onto that small stage and let their own light shine.
Some had moved from construction sites to a design firm, spending five years going from "having no standards" to "setting the standards." Some had shifted from design development to conceptual design, absorbing nourishment like a sponge — doubting themselves every day, yet certain it was all "worth it." Some were pushed by the excellence of their colleagues to revise their PPT until two in the morning, and yet felt grateful to walk alongside such outstanding people.
What they shared was not only professional expertise and experience, but an enduring love for and original aspiration toward design. Just as the bands in The Big Band hold on to what they love, at TC Design we too believe: the young us — this is how we live. We embrace challenges, speak up for ourselves, and write our own futures on a stage that is fair, just, and open to all. This summer, did you hear their voices?
